Two of Hastings’ most popular visitor attractions are getting in a mischievous mood for a deeply creepy Halloween half term.
Running from Monday, October 27th to Friday, October 31st visitors to both Smugglers Adventure and Hastings Blue Reef Aquarium will be able to join in ghostly goings-on and spooky trails.
Blue Reef are running a competition to design the scariest sea monster with the chance to win a child’s annual pass for the best entries. Children are also invited to come in their own frightful fancy dress outfits to join in the fiendish fun.
There will be a pumpkin hunt taking place around the aquarium, with visitors having to spot the hidden squashes.
Scuttle along in to the aquariums Jungle Discovery room where you will find lots of creepy crawlies including millipedes, beetles and a tarantula. Find out some gruesome facts about these scary creatures during the daily animal encounters.
Meanwhile Smugglers Adventure are organising their own ghostly quiz trail around the eerie caves for younger visitors.
On Friday, October 31st itself they will also be offering spooky savings of £1 off admission for up to six people at either site, just quote ‘Pumpkin’ at admission. Normal terms and conditions apply, not valid with any other offer.
