Every school holidays we run special themed events with daytime activities all included in admission.

Half-term adventure has arrived! 🌊

From Saturday 14th – Thursday 26th February, we’re making a splash with extra activities included in your ticket. If you’re looking for a brilliant day out on the coast, we’ve got you covered with more than just a view behind the glass.

Discover the ‘Texture Trail’ 🖍️

Pick up a crayon and get stuck in! Our Texture Trail features hidden rubbing plaques throughout the aquarium. It’s a hands-on way for children to discover the feel of the ocean, from rough shark skin to intricate shells.

Hourly Talks & Feeds 🎤

You don’t just see our residents—you get to meet them! Our experts host live talks and feeding demonstrations every single hour. Whether it’s the tropical reef or our local rays, there’s always something exciting to watch.

Make a Day of It 🎟️

No need to rush. At Hastings Aquarium, tickets are valid all day. Pop out for a bit of sea air or a spot of lunch on the front, then head back in for your favourite afternoon feed!

Valentine’s Late @ Hastings Aquarium

Dive into a world of wonder at Hastings Aquarium!

Bring your little ones for a sensory journey where children’s stories come to life. In partnership with Glow Storytime, winner of Best Baby Class at the Essential Baby Awards 2025, each session is designed to captivate your baby’s senses and nurture key developmental skills.

Every session, we explore a new children’s book through:
– Immersive sensory activities
– Theatrical performances
– Enchanting light-up props
… all designed to stimulate eye-tracking, early vocabulary, tactile exploration, and so much more!

📅 Session Info:

First Tuesday of the month (9:00am): Newborns to sitting babies
Last Tuesday of the month (9:00am): Crawlers and Walkers up to 2 years old

Not only do you get to bond with your little one, but you also get full-day access to explore the friendly creatures at the Aquarium!
