Every school holidays we run special themed events with daytime activities all included in admission.

THIS AUGUST! Charlie the Clownfish needs your help! Grab a page of Charlie’s journal and set off on a quest around our main ocean tank!

We’re teaming up with the amazing Hastings Kelp Project for our Summer Programme, running from 20th July – 2nd September! 🎉

Join us at Hastings Aquarium throughout the school holidays for a seaweed-filled celebration of our incredible underwater worlds with interactive activities, fascinating talks, and behind-the-scenes visits to our kelp lab. 🪸🔬

Come discover why kelp is one of the ocean’s superstars and learn how we can help protect our local seas. 🌊💚

Dive into a world of wonder at Hastings Aquarium!

Bring your little ones for a sensory journey where children’s stories come to life. In partnership with Glow Storytime, winner of Best Baby Class at the Essential Baby Awards 2025, each session is designed to captivate your baby’s senses and nurture key developmental skills.

Every session, we explore a new children’s book through:
– Immersive sensory activities
– Theatrical performances
– Enchanting light-up props
… all designed to stimulate eye-tracking, early vocabulary, tactile exploration, and so much more!

📅 Session Info:

First Tuesday of the month (9:00am): Newborns to sitting babies
Last Tuesday of the month (9:00am): Crawlers and Walkers up to 2 years old

Not only do you get to bond with your little one, but you also get full-day access to explore the friendly creatures at the Aquarium!
