Hastings Aquarium is accessible. It is all based on one floor with the exception of our underwater tunnel which has seven steps down to enter and seven steps up to exit the tunnel. Feel free to contact our friendly team ahead of your visit to get any further guidance. Other than this small section, it is fully accessible for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and pushchairs. We do not have wheelchairs for hire on site.
There are disabled toilet facilities, as well as baby changing facilities in addition to standard toilet facilities. These are available for both aquarium and café visitors.
Please be aware that some areas of the aquarium are kept purposefully darkened for animal welfare so please take care during your visit.
If you or a member of your party would prefer to visit the Aquarium when it is quieter, please consider visiting after 3pm. As we are an indoor attraction please note that we are busiest on wet weather days. Feel free to contact our friendly team ahead of your visit to get any further guidance.
Animals are not permitted on-site with the exception of registered assistance dogs. Please be aware that assistance dog owners will be asked to complete a declaration on arrival.
We offer a free carer ticket for anybody who requires a carer due to disability.
Please note that we accept any form of disability or carer identification as proof of carer entitlement.
Car parking is located next to Hastings Aquarium in the council ran pay-and-display car park – Rock-a-Nore Car Park. There are no designated parking spaces for disabled access to Hastings Aquarium as this car park serves the local area and not just our attraction.
