A huge Tyrannosaurus Rex is set to descend on Blue Reef Aquarium this Easter half term.
On Wednesday 4th April guests to the Rock-a-Nore Road attraction will be able to get up close and personal with the beast between 10am and 3pm.
The impressive four metre animatronic dinosaur, known as Pete, will also be bringing a selection of baby dinos – Rita, Bob and Alan.
The dino crèche features Alan the lazy Velociraptor, Bob the new-born Triceratops and Rita the baby T Rex.
Pete will be walking around the attraction and will be available for photos with visitors.
Leanna Lawson, Sales and Marketing Executive, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming Pete and the gang back over Easter.
“Pete’s friend Flame the Dragon was part of our event ‘Dragon Day’ at Hastings Castle last year, and the children really loved him. Pete has also attended the aquarium with his friends once before and was a huge hit.
“We can’t wait to see peoples reactions again when they come face to face with a T Rex!”
As well as meeting the dinosaur gang, visitors can enjoy the real life reptiles in the aquarium’s Jungle Room as well taking a journey under the sea with the huge variety of marine life at the attraction.
Fantasy Facepaints will be providing facepainting between 11am -2pm for £2.50 per face.
Meeting Pete will be included in the aquarium’s normal entrance price and tickets can be purchased online in advance at www.bluereefaquarium.co.uk
